How Your Beliefs Affect Your Reality

Have you ever noticed that you and a friend or family member may have shared an experience but you each feel differently about it?

There is a simple explanation for this difference in feelings!

The Process

• We all have experiences in life, and we form beliefs because of those experiences.

• Those beliefs guide our thoughts, and our thoughts create our emotions and feelings.

• We act and behave in response to those emotions and feelings.

• Altogether these beliefs, thoughts, emotions, and actions create our reality.

But why do you and your friend feel differently about your shared experience?

It’s because you have different beliefs about your experiences!

Here's an example

Let's say there's a contest. You and your friend both want to win so you both enter. Unfortunately, neither of you win.

Your friend may believe that he has lousy luck, thinks that he’ll never win anything, feels badly about himself, decides not to enter another contest and therefore never wins anything.

But you have a different belief – you believe that you have good luck, think that it wasn’t your turn to win but you will win in the future, feel excited for future contests, keep entering and occasionally win in the future.

I understand, but what's that have to do with manifestation?

Instead of beliefs around luck, what if you believed in the Law of Attraction?

Positive thoughts attract positive experiences.

• Although you may have lost the contest, you believe in the Law of Attraction.

• You think that the contest winner deserved to win and feel happy for her.

• You congratulate her.

• You bring positivity into the world.

• You attract future positive experiences for yourself.

In each example, the belief around the situation changed every moment that followed it.

Change your beliefs to change your thoughts, feelings, and reality!
